Bulgaria is a small country on the Black Sea coast of southeastern Europe. Its capital is Sofia, and its other populous cities are Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas.

Bulgaria is a pleasant country in the Balkans, well worth exploring. Beautiful beaches and delicious Bulgarian food await you. There are also plenty of interesting cities to visit like Sofia or Plovdiv.

One of the most popular resorts is the Sunny Beach. Bulgaria’s sunny coastline, with its endless sunshine, 8 km of fine sandy beaches and plenty of entertainment, is ideal for families, but also for party travellers. The proximity of the charming town of Nesebar, with good local public transport links, also makes it attractive. In the north, Varna and the beautiful Golden Sands coastline, in the south Burgas, Sozopol or smaller, quieter resort towns like Primorsko will delight you with a meaningful and memorable holiday on the Black Sea coast.

The country has a continental climate. The real attraction of Bulgaria’s beaches is the good summer weather, which starts at the end of May and lasts until October.

The price level in Bulgaria makes it suitable for planning low budget trips.
