Paris is one of the most popular tourist destinations. It’s a huge city with lots of things to see and do.
This time we prepared an article for those who want to take pictures. Here we present the top 20 (in our opinion) best photography spots from which you can take the best photos in Paris.
The photo points are connected to the most famous places in Paris, because this is where you are likely to take the most successful photos for others (e.g. for social media).
Eiffel Tower and River Seine
Photo spot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
We have marked the most photo points near the Eiffel Tower, because this is the most famous area of Paris. In fact, it is perhaps one of the most popular places in the entire world.
You can take photos around the Eiffel Tower in daylight, at sunset or in the dark. If you have talent, good photos are almost guaranteed here.
Louvre
Photo spot 8, 9, 10
The area around the Louvre Museum in Paris is a bit more difficult to photograph, because there are large crowds in front of the Louvre almost all day. There may be fewer people early in the morning or late at night. Some take very good photos even in the dark, so more experienced photographers should visit late at night.
Notre-Dame de Paris
Photo spot 11
Notre-Dame de Paris is currently under renovation, so it is not the best photo spot. It’s worth a visit though. We hope to see it again in its old glory, and then the photos will be even better.
Pantheon
Photo spot 12
If you’re already at Notre-Dame de Paris, it’s worth making a detour of about 1 km towards the Pantheon, where you can take very good photos of the classicist building from the square in front of it.
Arc de Triomphe
Photo spot 13
Also worth a short detour is the Arc de Triomphe, one of the most famous buildings in Paris. We can see very good drone photos from here, however, because drones in the city require a permit, in most cases we have to be content with taking photos from the street in front. The triumphal arch also looks gorgeous in the photos from below.
Palace of Versailles
Photo spot 14, 15, 16
The Palace of Versailles is one of the most famous buildings not only in Paris, but in all of Europe. It was the residence of the French kings for a long time, so we find limitless luxury within the walls of the palace. We marked the external photography points on the map. Of course, you can also take perfect photos of the palace from inside, but preferably only in periods when there are fewer tourists (in rare cases), because in most cases there is a huge crowd everywhere in the palace area. Plan to spend a lot of time here (at least 2-3 hours), because it takes a lot of time to see both the palace and the park. But it’s worth it!
Disneyland
Photo spot 17, 18
Disneyland is actually full of great photo spots, but we’ve highlighted two of our favorites. One is the entrance to Disneyland Park, and the other is the famous Disneyland Castle, where the evening shows with fireworks, laser and drone shows are also organized. Photo point 17 is a particularly good photo spot either in the light or during the evening show.
Luxembourg Palace
Photo spot 19
We marked a photo spot in the park of Luxembourg Castle in Paris. From here you get a wonderful view of the castle, the statues in front of it, the fountain and the park.
Parc de Princes
Photo spot 20
Parc de Princes is the stadium of Paris Saint-Germain FC. For a long time, this was also the French national football stadium. It is worth paying for the stadium tour, so you can take good photos from inside. We have marked an outdoor photo point where the entrance is visible with the image of the famous players of the football club.
